Firearms Safety Course
Anyone applying for a Queensland firearms licence must first successfully complete an approved Firearms Safety Course. During the training, participants are required to demonstrate an understanding of the National Firearms Safety Code, identify the various firearm categories, and show knowledge of the safe handling, secure storage and basic maintenance procedures relevant to the firearm categories for which they are seeking a licence.

The Shot Screen
Redcliffe City Clay Target Club is proud to be one of only two clay target clubs in Australia equipped with a dedicated shot screen. Positioned behind the target flight path, the shot screen provides a clear background that makes it significantly easier to see clay target and the exact point at which the clay target breaks. This immediate visual feedback allows shooters to better understand their timing and accuracy, making it an invaluable training aid for beginners and experienced competitors alike. Whether you're refining your technique or simply enjoying a day's shooting, the shot screen enhances every round by giving you a clearer view of every successful break.
